Preston Sports Shops

Many UK towns and cities have a proud sporting heritage - especially where football is concerned - but not many can beat Preston which not only had their football team, Preston North FC, be a founding member of The Football League; but is also home to what has been described as the oldest 'continuously used professional soccer venue in the world'.

Preston isn't all about football though - the wide variety of other sports played here (including cycling, mountaineering and speedway) have all ensured that there is a generous selection of Preston sports shops for visitors and residents to shop in. With general sports shop such as Sports Direct in the Fishergate shopping centre - and retailers like Foot Asylum and O'Neill in The Mall - the city centre does have some decent sporting outlets.
